What Happens Next?
Firstly, we don't charge for telephone advice, and if we can solve your problem quickly and efficiently over the phone, we will (if you want us to), because we value your goodwill.
Arranging a Home Visit
If you want to arrange a Home Visit then we will agree a mutually convenient appointment for a technician to come round to your house. The appointment will normally be within one or two days of your call, although sometimes we can offer a same-day appointment.
When the Technician Arrives
When the technician arrives he will discuss exactly what your requirements are and briefly assess your computer system. Once you have agreed the job details, the technician will ask you to read and sign our plain English contract - see here for a copy you can download and print out.
You are not committed to any charges until you agree with the technician exactly what he is going to do. There is no callout charge or minimum fee, even if you change your mind about going ahead. We have an extensive price list of fixed price jobs, and a sliding scale of hourly rates for other jobs.
If you want to cancel a Home Visit for any reason, simply phone at least an hour before the appointment time in order to avoid a wasted journey by the technician.
If you prefer the technician not to work in your home for whatever reason, we can collect your computer (usually just the main box) and then return it to you. There is a modest charge for this service to cover the additional travel and there is a small additional charge if you prefer our technician to disconnect/reconnect your base unit.
