Who Are We?
RS infotech is a small Preston-based company that provides a high quality computer technician service to primary schools in Lancashire. We also provide an 'in-your-home' computer technician service to individuals and households in Preston and the surrounding area.
For your reassurance and your children's safety, we only employ experienced technicians who are Microsoft Certified Professionals (at least) and have a clean CRB Enhanced Disclosure.
What Do We Do?
Our services cover installation and maintenance of hardware and software, servers, networking, printing and of course Windows desktop and laptop PCs. We also provide technical assessment, troubleshooting and advice on best practice.
Professional ICT Support
The days of an amateur enthusiast looking after the school's random collection of computers are virtually gone in favour of professionally-installed systems. Interactive whiteboards in particular are changing the way teachers use and rely on ICT. The availablity and stability of the school's curriculum network have become increasingly important.
Even so, many schools find their computers are not well setup and maintained, and soon end up in a mess. We provide a support service that aims to increase the consistency and reliability of your computers and reduce the maintenance headaches. ICT Troubleshooting
Whilst our regular clients benefit from a holistic support service, any primary school can benefit from our technical expertise on an ad hoc basis when the need arises. We are good value too - our rates depend on how much service you actually use, with no upfront commitment or tie-in.
homehelp Service
Teachers at our client schools often ask us for help with their home computers. We have expanded this popular service to local households and we call it homehelp - “expert help in your home”. No fuss, no commission, no hard sell.
Home Visits
Our homehelp Service is based on a flexible appointments system. We work anytime from 9am to 9pm including weekends, to suit you, and we also offer a Collect & Return Service.
Pricing
